What is an Avatar?
In case you are wondering..."What is an avatar?" I did a little research and came up with some links for you, or just do a google search for avatars.
An avatar is a small image or icon that is used to represent a person, used in message boards/forums and instant messaging (IM). Also known as buddy icons. They are lo-resolution and vary in size, but generally are smaller pretty small.

To the right you can see some of my chicks! Coconut Goddess is Ana Cabrera. Shabby Princess is a super sweet person - we made her a diamond tiara! Char is a fabulous stylist and cute as can be! Angie (as in Angie Pedersen) is so awesome at what she does - she's a marketing guru, has written books to help you scrapbook and has a very energetic personality! Becky is a great photographer - she's going to put together some tips on taking pictures for Matter of Scrap. We can't wait!!

You can play around and create your own people avatars. These are links I found doing a search for 'avatar creator'.
- This link has a program you can download to resize a pic to avatar size. Most of us, though, being digital scrappers, can use our image editing programs to resize our graphics. I haven't downloaded the program, but here's the link if you want to check it out:
